Description

Serrapeptase is an enzyme which is proving to be an alternative to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) traditionally used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Its uses have also been extended to the treatment of chronic sinusitis, inflammation associated with fibrocystic breast disease, post-operative inflammation and even sinusitis. Regardless of whether serrapeptase is used for inflammatory diseases or to prevent plaque build-up on the arteries, it is well-tolerated.
